Hi, I’m ryan
A Wedding Photographer in Southampton

I am a full-time professional Southampton wedding photographer working across the south coast. I have a real passion for beautifully natural images. You and your guests won’t notice me most of your day as I have a non-obtrusive style. Don’t worry about feeling awkward in front of the camera most people do. I will help you feel relaxed, guide you through your couples portraits in a calm no-pressure way to create beautiful and natural shots throughout your day. Come the evening I get all excited and bring out some lighting to do a few dramatic show stopper images.
When I’m not doing wedding photography in Southampton and the local area, I love to go on walks with our family dog. I’m also a bit of a gadget freak. I love listening to music. If you play any Michael Jackson at your wedding I’ll be the first to knee slide onto the dancefloor! – I know, can’t believe I just admitted that!!!
I adore meeting new people and everything that makes them unique. I’m so lucky that my job is my passion. I really do love capturing all the special moments of people’s lives not to mention I really do love cake!

Your Day
My approach
Although all weddings are unique this is a brief description of how I approach a wedding.
On the morning of your wedding, I will start with some shots of you and the bridal party as you begin your bridal preparations. I will capture lots of great images of your dress, shoes and any other little details as you and your bridesmaids start to get ready for your day. There will be many opportunities to catch unexpected moments, all the laughs you will share, and any pre-wedding toasts. And of course, all of the preparations and excitement!
Once you have finished your preparations, I will take the opportunity for some portraits of the bride, parents, bridesmaids and any other special people that may be with you.
This is such a great way to set the scene for your wedding story. Every wedding is unique and special, and I am sure yours will be no different.
I will leave before the bride and bridesmaids for your ceremony. As the groom and the guests reside in the Church/Registry office to eagerly await the brides’ arrival. I will be waiting to capture some great shots of the bride walking down the aisle, and the grooms face as he sees his soon to be wife, for the first time in her beautiful dress.
I will then capture lots of images of the ceremony and guests reactions, then on to some pictures of you signing the register, and leaving as husband and wife which will then lead nicely into portraits of the two of you at the entrance to
the Church/Registry office and of course the confetti shot.
At your reception, I will capture all of your group shots with bridesmaids, best men, parents, and any other special people and one final big group shot of the both of you and all your guests. we can then go onto creating some gorgeous natural and intimate portraits of the two of you as a newlywed couple before the reception which will be an opportune moment to get some impromptu shots of everyone enjoying themselves.
Before you and your guests start enjoying the wedding breakfast, I have a chance to capture all the lovely, heartfelt details that make each wedding unique. This of course, leads to speeches and the special moment when you cut the cake before sharing your first dance. Of course, there will be lots of natural, candid shots that present themselves throughout the day.
I would describe my style as natural and relaxed, with a dose of reportage style candid shots. Still, I’m also fond of a creative portrait or two when the opportunity presents itself.
After your wedding, I will beautifully edit all of your photos in my style. They will then be available for you to view and download on your own private gallery. I will also load all of these images onto a USB, presented in a bespoke case. Once you have your pictures, they are yours to print and share royalty-free.
